Candidates for the CIBC Youthvision Scholarship Program must be enrolled in an approved mentoring program with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. They must maintain a minimum of 60 percent average until and including graduation. The scholarship provides up to $4,000, plus paid summer employment with YMCA Canada.

Foundation for the Advancement of Aboriginal Youth

FAAY is the scholarship program operated by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB). It helps corporations show their commitment to developing the individual capacity of young Aboriginal people by providing funds to help them stay in school and pursue higher education. High school students are eligible for bursaries of $750. Students in university, college, or a technical institute are eligible for bursaries of $2000-$4000.
